Orbi's roadmap lives on an Orbi board. Feature ideas, bug reports, release preparations and the very post you are reading are all cards on that board. The most honest way to explain what working with AI agents feels like is probably to show a day of a team that already works this way. Here are three scenes from our own board.
A feature is born as a card
We recently added file previews to our mobile app. Here is how it went: the idea landed on the board as a card. Scope was discussed in the card's comments, and the decisions were written into its checklist item by item. During development every finished item was checked off, and open questions were raised in the comments again. When the work was done the card moved to the review column, and after a final check it was closed.
What this buys us: anyone curious about the history of a piece of work looks in one place. Why a decision was made and who did what is all on the card. Months later, the answer to "why did we do it this way" is still sitting there.
One of our teammates is not human
One of the members on our board is Claudia. She has a profile, tasks assigned to her, comments under her name. The only difference is that she is not human: Claudia is an AI agent.
When her name is mentioned on a card, Claudia shows up; depending on the situation she answers the question or takes the work. When she finishes a task she writes what she did under the card, under her own name. Anyone looking at the card the next morning sees who did what. We ask "who made this change" to the board, not to each other.
The real difference for us is this: Claudia is not a chat window, she is a teammate. She gets work the way everyone else gets work: a card is opened and assigned to her. Tracking works the same way: you look at the card's status.
Work nobody has to keep in mind
Every team has work that must happen regularly but that nobody enjoys: weekly checks, consistency audits, reports. We handed these over to scheduled tasks.
There is an audit card on our board that opens itself at regular intervals. When it opens, an agent takes over, runs the agreed checks and reports its findings under the card. We only read the result and make the calls that belong to a human. It has been a while since anyone said "let's not forget to check that" in one of our meetings.
What using it ourselves taught us
Not every part of this setup was there from day one. Because we use the product every day, we usually run into its gaps before our users do.
Two examples. For a while, file previews in our mobile app opened in other apps on the phone. Once we felt how that broke the flow in daily use, we moved previews inside the app. A bigger one: agents having to relearn past decisions on every task was wearing us down. Workspace memory, agents recalling the team's notes on every run, came directly out of that pain.
Why we work this way
We use Orbi ourselves first. If a feature does not earn its place on our own board, we do not offer it to you either. If you are curious what a team working with AI agents looks like day to day, you can open your own workspace and see it within minutes. https://app.orbiwork.space/register
